While at an Industrial Careers Pathway conference in Chicago last week, I had some really good dish deep pizza! Anyway, the conference was all about employers, academics and associations collaborating in their efforts to prepare people for employment in sales and customer service in industrial distribution. What is Industrial Distribution? It’s the business of buying, selling and delivering thousands of products from multiple manufacturers to customers worldwide. The North American industrial distribution market will have more than 240,000 jobs opening annually.
